LYDIA. Philadelphia. 2nd-1st century BC. (Bronze, 20 mm, 9.40 g, 12 h), struck under the archieros Hermippos, son of Hermogenes. Diademed and draped bust of Artemis to right, with bow and quiver at shoulder. Rev. ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΕΩΝ / EPMIΠΠΩΣ EPMOΓΕΝΟΥΣ / ΑΡΧΙΕΡΩΣ Apollo seated left, holding patera in right hand and resting left elbow on lyre; on back of throne, owl standing right, head facing. BMC 10-2. SNG Copenhagen 337-8. SNG von Aulock 3058-9. Well centered and struck. Flan flaw on cheek, otherwise, good very fine.
