CELTIC BRITAIN, Atrebates & Regni. Verica, c. AD 10-40. Stater (Gold, 18mm, 5.50 g 4), vine leaf type, southern mint, either in or near Chichester or Silchester. VI - RI Vine leaf. Rev. C - O - F Warrior, with spear and shield strapped over his back, riding horse galloping to right (apparently leaping from one ‘platform’ to another). ABC 1193. Allen & Haselgrove series D, 48-51 (dies A/a). Bean VER3-1. SCBC 121. VA 520-1. A lovely example with excellent reverse details. Extremely fine.
