THRACE. Maroneia. Circa 436/5-411/0 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 10.76 g, 11 h), under the magistrate Posideios. Free horse springing to left, trailing reins. Rev. ΕΠΙ Π-ΟΣΙΔ-EΙΟ[Y] Grape vine with four bunches of grapes and five leaves within linear frame; in left field, ear of grain; all within incuse square. HGC 3.2, 1533. Schönert-Geiss 417 (V4/R7). Scarce. Very fine.
