Rev. 20 ΔΡΑΧΜAI 1852 Crowned shield bearing the coat of arms of Greece with the Wittelsbach arms at the center; all within an olive wreath with ties below. Divo P34. Karamitsos T.33. KM Pn19. Graded by NGC "MS 62". Unique in pop report in NGC and PCGS. Cert number: 2908889-001.

PAPHLAGONIA. Sinope. Circa 330-300 BC. Drachm (Silver, 20 mm, 5.97 g, 6 h), struck under the magistrate Ικεσιο. Head of the nymph Sinope to left, her hair bound in a sakkos and wearing a triple pendant earring and a pearl necklace; before her to left, aplustre. Rev. ΣΙΝΩ /IKEΣIO Sea-eagle with spread wings standing on dolphin swimming to left. HGC 7, 391. Cf. SNG Black Sea 1487 (same magistrate). SNG Stancomb -. Rare with the full magistrate's name on the flan. Test cut and some scratches on obverse, otherwise, very fine.
