Ν-Ε / Ο-Π Head of the nymph of Neapolis to right, her hair coiled around her head and with a bun at the back, wearing a plain necklace with a pendant. AMNG III, 11 and pl. XVI, 25. Kraay & Hirmer 434. SNG ANS 429. Toned and of particularly fine style. Reverse slightly double-struck. About extremely fine.

[ΜΕΙΛΗΤ]ΟΠΟ ΕΠΙΜΕΛΗ ΤΙ ΦΛΑ ΑΣΙΑΤΙΚΟΥ ΠΡΩΤΑΡ Hermes, wearing petasos, seated left on rocks, holding caduceus in right hand and resting left on rocks. BMC -. RPC 1648.2 (this coin). SNG BN -. Very rare - only two specimens noted in RPC Online, including this coin. Brown surfaces. A couple of pits and light porosity, otherwise, very fine.
