ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon. HGC 4, 1632. SNG Copenhagen 63-65. Fine details for type. Stuck on a thick and tight flan, reverse well preserved for type, otherwise, good very fine.

In the modern Greek street language, this coin is called "koutsouro" literally meaning roughly cut piece of wood, due to the fact that they always have thick flans with rough details and irregular shape.
