Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 32 mm, 27.82 g, 6 h), Rome, 134-138. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P Laureate bust of Hadrian to right with slight drapery over far shoulder. Rev. SALVS AVG / S C Salus standing right, feeding, from a patera, snake arising from altar to right. Banti 698 (this coin). BMC 1555. Cohen 1337. RIC 785. Attractive brown old cabinet patina. Smoothed fields, otherwise, about extremely fine.
