Divus Augustus, died AD 14. As (Copper, 30 mm, 10.33 g, 7 h), struck under Tiberius, Rome, 22/3-30. DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER Radiate head of Augustus to left. Rev. S - C / PROVIDENT Altar. BMC 146 (Tiberius). BN 132 (Tiberius). Cohen 228. RIC 81 (Tiberius). An attractive coin with a superb deep green patina. Some minor smoothing, otherwise, very fine.
