IONIA. Uncertain mint. Circa 550-500 BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.99 g). Head of a calf to left, with his neck truncation marked off by a band of pellets between two lines, and with a five-pointed rosette on his lower jaw. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. CNG E449, 2019, 153, otherwise unpublished. Very rare, and attractively toned. About extremely fine.
