CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 405-345 BC. Stater (Silver, 22.00 mm, 8.50 g, 6 h). Ϙ Pegasos flying to left. Rev. Helmeted head of Aphrodite to left; behind, hunting dog seated to right. BCD Corinth 65. Calciati 135. Ravel - but obverse P188 (same die, R 371-378), and for the reverse, cf. T370 ff. (R 527, 537, 539-542, 544-545, 547). An intriguing new die combination! Well-centered and attractive. Considerable die rust on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
