GREECE. Georgios I, 1863-1913. Pattern 2 Drachmai 1911 (Silver, 27 mm, 9.98 g, 6 h), but lacking all privy marks, Paris, struck from dies by Georgios Jakobides, reeded edge. ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Α! ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ / 1911 Elderly head of George I to left; below truncation, in tiny letters, Γ. ΙΑΚΩΒΙΔΗΣ. Rev. ΔΙΔΡΑΧΜΟΝ Veiled Thetis, seated to left on a hippocamp swimming to right, holding, with her right hand, the shield of Achilles adorned with a facing gorgoneion. Divo -. Karamitsos T.74 (this coin, but not illustrated). KM Pn42. The only example known. Graded by NGC "MS 61". Unique in the Pop Report in NGC and PCGS. Cert number: 2908888-011.

CILICIA. Kelenderis. Circa 425-400 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 9.51 g, 10 h). Youth, holding whip and reins, dismounting from horse rearing right; to upper left, sun with ten rays; below horse, EP. Rev. ΚΕΛΕ Mountain goat kneeling to right, head turned back to left; to right, facing head of lion. Cf. BMC 34-35. Cf. von Aulock 5640 (same obverse). Nomos 9, 21 October 2014, 174. Apparently unpublished in the standard references. Rare and stylistically very attractive. Rough surfaces, otherwise, very fine.
