Rev. 5 ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ /(anchor) 1833 A /✶ Crowned shield bearing the coat of arms of Greece with the Wittelsbach arms at the center; all within an olive wreath with ties below. Divo 10b. Karamitsos 111. ARCADIA. Heraea. Septimius Severus, 193-211. Assarion (Bronze, 22 mm, 4.82 g, 5 h). ΛOV CEΠ CEO – VHPOC ΠEPT Laureate and curaissed bust of Septimius Severus to right. Rev. HEPA – EΩN Tyche standing left, holding cornucopia in left hand and patera over burning altar in right. BCD Peloponnesos – (cf. 1375-6 for reverse type for Caracalla and Geta). Apparently unpublished type, save for an auction appearance, NAC 100, 2017, 1184 (same obverse die). Extremely rare. Very fine.
