OI BACIΛΕΙC THC NEΩΤΕΡΑC ΕΛΛΑΔΟC ·•· Crowned shield, on a plinth with two Herakles supporters, bearing the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Greece, with a smaller shield at the center bearing the Danish royal coat of arms; on the lower left, at the edge, small numerals 999.9 (= gold fineness). Extremely fine.

KUSHANO-SASANIANS. Hormizd I, circa 265-295. (Bronze, 15 mm, 2.11 g, 12 h), Baktrian mint, probably Balkh. AWHRMYZDY MLKA ('Hormiz King' in Pahlawi) Draped bust of Hormizd I to right, wearing crown with decorated korymbos and a lion's head. Rev. BWLZAWNDY YZDTY ('Exalted God', in Pahlawi) God emerging from fire altar, holding diadem in his right hand and long spear in his left. ANS Kushan 2225-2236. Cribb 24. Donum Burns 909-35. MK 1052. Nearly very fine.
