SPAIN. Turiasu. Late 2nd-early 1st century BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.56 g, 12 h). ka-tu-ś Bearded male head to right, wearing pearl necklace. Rev. turiasu Horseman with couched lance galloping to right. CNH 34. SNG BM Spain 958-968. Toned, sharply struck and in good silver. Obverse very slightly double-struck, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

While large numbers of these coins have come on the market in Spain over the past few years, surprisingly enough, very few are as nice as this one.

CELTIC, Southern Gaul. Elusates. Circa 100-50 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 3.20 g). Devolved and celticized head to right. Rev. Celticized pegasos to left; below, box-like structure. CCCBM II, 111-126. F&P ELU-3587. Nicely struck and attractively toned. Extremely fine.

CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Senones. Circa 100-60 BC. Stater (Gold, 10 mm, 7.07 g), Gallo-Belgic Bullet Type. Cross with trifurcated ends at the center of a plain globule with a prominent rim. Rev. plain convex surface. De la Tour pl. XXXIX, V, 28. SLM 704-709. Ziegaus 158. A very pleasing, sharp and clear coin, attractively toned. Extremely fine.
