Helena, Mother of Constantine I, empress 324-330. Follis (Bronze, 18.5 mm, 3.33 g, 12 h), struck under Constantine I, Siscia, 3rd officina (Γ), 328-329. FL HELENA AVGVSTA Diademed and draped bust of Helena to right. Rev. SECVRITAS REIPVBLICE / ΓSIS (double crescent) Securitas standing facing, head left, holding olive branch in her right hand, fold of drapery on left. LRBC 741. RIC 218. Dark brown patina with silvery undertones; perfectly centered and well struck. Good very fine.
