Divus Romulus, died 309. Follis (Bronze, 25 mm, 7.97 g, 11 h), struck under his father Maxentius, Rome, 3rd officina (T), 308-310. DIVO ROMVLO N V BIS CONS Bare head of Romulus to right. Rev. AETERNAE MEMORIAE / RBT Domed hexastyle shrine with right door slightly ajar; on dome, eagle standing to right, head turned to left. RIC 207. Brown patina with light earthen deposits; well centered and clearly struck with the bricks in the shrine clearly delineated. Very fine.
