VENERI VICTRICI / SIS Venus standing left, holding apple in her right hand and drawing drapery from shoulder with her left. Calico 4969. Depeyrot 11/7. RIC 196. Very rare. Slightly wavy flan and with tooling, smoothing and possible traces of repairs, otherwise, very fine.

From the Trausnitz Collection, ex Hess Divo 311, 22 October 2008, 600 (estimated at CHF 5000 CHF and sold for 6500) and Künker 124, 16 March 2007, 7662 (estimated at €7500 and realised 5500 - described as slightly bent and tooled).

Well-centered and with a rough dark green patina and some earthen encrustations on the reverse. Good very fine.
