SICILY. Syracuse. Deinomenid Tyranny, 485-466 BC. Litra (Silver, 12.5 mm, 0.79 g, 5 h), circa 470-466. Pearl-diademed head of Arethusa to right, her hair tied up behind under headband. Rev. ΣV-R-A octopus. Boehringer 424ff. HGC 1375. Nicely toned and with fine fetails. Good very fine.

Calciati 1. HGC 2, 1400. A lovely toned coin, toned and clear. Overstruck, with visible traces of the undertype's mill sail reverse still visible on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
