Probus, 276-282. Antoninianus (Billon, 22 mm, 3.21 g, 6 h), Siscia, 3rd officina, 277. IMP C M AVR PROBVS P AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Probus to left, holding spear over his left shoulder and shield over his right. Rev. ADVENTVS AVG / XXIΓ Probus on horseback riding to left, raising hand and holding long scepter. RIC 629. Rare without a helmeted portrait. Good very fine.

PM TRI P COS II PP/ XXIV Lion advancing to right, holding thunderbolt in its jaws. RIC 612. Well struck, clear and scarce with this unusual reverse type. Nearly extremely fine.

Probus, 276-282. Aureus (Gold, 21.5 mm, 6.25 g, 6 h), Rome, 281-282. IMP PROB-VS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Probus to left. Rev. VICTORIOS O SEMPER Probus in military dress, standing to left, holding scepter, between four captives, two on the left and two on the right, beseeching him; in exergue, wreath. Calicó 4235 (R4). RIC 143d . Extremely rare, the only example to appear for sale in over 20 years. Evenly water-worn, some scratches and marks, and with a slightly doublestruck reverse, otherwise, good fine.
