The Triumvirs. Octavian and Divus Julius Caesar, 38 BC. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 30 mm, 19.22 g, 11 h), mint in Southern Italy(?). CAESAR DIVI F Bare head of Octavian to right. Rev. DIVOS IVLIVS Wreathed head of Divus Julius to right. CRI 308. RPC 620. Sydenham 1335. Fine green patina with some reddish deposits on the edges of the obverse. Scrapes and marks on both sides, hair of both heads slightly re-engraved, otherwise, very fine.

CAESAR DIVI• F Pax, draped, standing facing, her head turned to left, holding an olive branch in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left. BMC 605. BN 26. Cohen 69. CRI 399. RIC² 252. Clear and bright, with a fine portrait. Light graffito on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.

IMP - CAESAR Rostral column, ornamented with two anchors and six galley rams, and surmounted by a statue of Octavian, holding a spear in his right hand and a parazonium in his left. BMC 633. BN 68.
