ATTICA. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 17.18 g, 11 h), c. 430s-420s. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet with palmette and three olive leaves. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon. HGC 4, 1597. Kroll 8. Fully lustrous, very bright and clear; an impressive coin struck in fine silver. Extremely fine.
