Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos. Rev. ΑΘΕ /ΜΕΝΕΔ / ΕΠΙ / ΓΕΝΟ / ΦΙΛΟ Owl standing facing on amphora; to left, Asklepios standing to left; on amphora, Γ (= 3rd month); below amphora, ΓΛ (= contractor’s initials). Thompson 349f. A bright and attractive example. Obverse lightly struck from a slightly rusty die, otherwise, extremely fine.
