MACEDON. Phagres. Circa 400-350 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 10.5 mm, 1.18 g, 8 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΦAΓP Forepart of a lion to right. Liampi, Phagres 3. An extremely rare coin from an extremely rare northern Greek mint. With an exceptional glossy green patina - probably one of the best known examples. Nearly extremely fine.
