MACEDON. Methone. Circa 400-350 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 8 mm, 0.48 g, 7 h). Bridled head of horse to right. Rev. Dolphin swimming to left within shallow incuse circle. HGC 3.1, 579. Psoma 3 var. (dolphin to right). Around five examples exist of this very limited emission from the Pierian Methone, often miss-attributed as "uncertain Thraco-macedonian". Well struck and nicely centered. Good very fine.
