Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 17.5 mm, 3.50 g, 6 h), Rome, 134-138. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. COS III Annona seated left, holding sickel and cornucopia; modius with grain-ears at her feet to left. Cohen 380. BMC 488. RIC 338. Lovely old cabinet toning; well centered and clear. Nearly extremely fine.

Bought privately from Bank Leu in the 80s. Sold with the original Leu ticket.
