LUCANIA. Paestum (Poseidonia). period of the Second Punic War, 218-201 BC. Uncia (Bronze, 13 mm, 2.28 g, 6 h). Diademed and draped bust of Artemis to right, with bow and quiver over her shoulder. Rev. ΠAIS / Q•VA Grain ear, with mark of value (•) to upper right. Crawford, Paestum 9/4. HN Italy 1212. A well preserved, scarce issue with a lovely green patina. Good very fine.

ΠAIS Boar standing right, with spray of leaves and mark of value (••) below. Crawford, Paestum 6/3. HN Italy 1198. Rare. Excellent late Hellenistic style. Good style and fine surfaces. Scratch on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.

ΠAIS Forepart of a boar standing to right, with mark of value (••) below. Crawford, Paestum 5/3. HN Italy 1193. With a most attractive light green, solid patina. Scratch on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
