CAMVL on a central panel over vertical wreath with alternate heart shapes and bucrania in the angles. Rev. CVNO Two horses galloping to left (the deconstructed remains of a biga) with a leaf above and a ‘wheel’ below. ABC 2807. BMC 1836-36A. VA 1927. Very rare. Nicely toned. Reverse slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.

Central bar bisected by rooted tree; bent line below, crescent and three-pronged ornament in exergue. ABC 40. BMC -. DT 249. Flesche 226. LT 8611. S. 10. Scheers 13, pl. 5.118-119. VA 69-1. An attractive piece with a particularly nice reverse. Obverse struck off center as usual, otherwise, good very fine.
