SOLI INVICTO / SXXT Sol standing left, with his right hand raised and holding globe in his left hand, his right foot resting on a bound captive in oriental dress seated left; on the other side, another bound captive in oriental dress seated right, his head turned left; in field to left, star. RIC 154. RIC online 1532. An attractive piece with almost intact silvering. Some deposits, otherwise, extremely fine.

Severina, Augusta, 270-275. Double aureus or ‘Binio’ (Gold, 22mm, 6.25 g 12), Ticinum, September-November 275. SEVERINA AVG Draped bust of Severina set on a crescent to right, wearing diadem and with her hair elaborately rolled. Rev. CONCORDIAE MILITVM Concordia standing left, holding a standard in each hand. RIC 2 corr. RIC online 1559 (same dies). Very rare. One of only eight specimens known. An attractive and well-centered example. Some traces of mounting and cleaning, otherwise, very fine.
