KINGS OF PARTHIA. Artabanos II, 127-126 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 16.13 g, 1 h), Seleukeia on-the-Tigris. Diademed head of Artabanos to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ APΣAKOY Demeter seated left on a throne supported by a winged Tritoness, holding cornucopia with her left hand, and being crowned by Nike, whom she holds in her right hand; outer left, head of a horse to left; in the exergue, two monograms. Sellwood 18.1 (as Bagasis). Sunrise 273. Attractively toned and well-centered. Some minor marks and scuffs, otherwise, very fine.

ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΡΣΑΚΟY Demeter, seated left on a throne supported by a winged Tritoness, holding cornucopia with her left hand, and being crowned by Nike, whom she holds in her right hand; outer left, horse's head left; in the exergue, two monograms. PDC 5655. Sellwood 21.4 var (no head of horse). Sunrise 275 var. Well-centered and nicely toned. Flan fault on the edge, otherwise, good very fine.

BΑCΙΛEΩC ΚΑΜΝΑCΚΙΡΟΥ ΒΑCΙΛΙCCΗC ΑΝΖΑΖΗC / MAKEΔΩN Zeus seated left on throne with a back, drawning back his right leg, holding long scepter in his left hand and, in his right, Nike, holding wreath.
