BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Eukratides I, circa 170-145 BC. Obol (Silver, 11 mm, 0.65 g, 12 h), c. later 160s BC. Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides to right, wearing Macedonian helmet adorned with bull’s horn and ear. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΕΥΚΡΑΤΙΔΟΥ The two caps of the Diokouroi, each with a palm branch beside it; below, monogram of ΗΜΑ. Bopearachchi 9C. HGC 12, 139. SNG ANS 496. Perfectly centered and toned. Good very fine.

ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΘEOY ΑΝΤΙΜΑΧΟΥ Poseidon, nude to the waist, standing facing, holding long trident in his right hand and filleted palm branch in his left; to right, monogram of KOP. Bopearachchi, Antimaque I, 4B. Bopearachchi & Rahman 185. MIG Type 127c. SNG ANS 283-288. Well centered and with a good portrait. Surface roughness, otherwise, very fine.
