IX-XC / [O NIKΛA]OC / O MIN O / KAΛΛΚΕΛΑ'/ + KE BOHΘEI TΩ CΩ ΔOYΛΩ KΩN TO ΠPOEΔPΩ St Nicolas on the left and St Menas Kallikelados on the right, standing facing each other in the Deisis position, both inclining towards a medallion of Jesus Christ in the upper middle field. Rev. MP-ΘY above; O ΔHMHTPIOS on the left; O ΠANTEΛEHM on the right; + / K ME /ΓΑΛΩ / ΛΟΓΟ / ΘETHN / TΩN A /ΓEΛΩN St Demetrios on the left and St Pantelemon on the right, standing facing each other in the Deisis position, both inclining towards a medallion of a medallion of the Virgin Mary in the upper middle field. See Gorny & Mosch 208 (2012) 2613, for an example that is possibly from from the same dies. Zacos II 404 var. (reverse inscription, the present seal is slightly later than the Zacos piece). Rare. Scratch on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
