CELTIC BRITAIN, Regini & Atrebates. Uninscribed, circa 75-45 BC. Quarter stater (Gold, 15mm, 1.38 g 2). Abstract head of Apollo with spiky hair to right. Rev. Celticized horse prancing right, with triple-tail; above, radiate pellet-in-crescent; below, wheel. ABC 503. S. 48. VA 220. An excellent example with a lovely tone. Particularly well-centered and sharply struck. Extremely fine.
