CENTRAL EUROPE, Helvetii. Mid 1st century BC. ’Büschelquinar’ (Silver, 12mm, 1.61 g). Palmette made from eight curved leaves; at the center, three pellets; below, crescent. Rev. Celtic horse galloping to left; above right, crescent surrounded by pellets; below, circle of pellets. CCCBM II 223. SLM 943. A lovely, well struck and toned example. Extremely fine.
