EGYPT. Alexandria. Hadrian, 117-138. Drachm (Bronze, 34.70 mm, 25.75 g, 12 h), year 19 = 134-135. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙC ΤΡΑΙΑΝ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟC CEB Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. L EΝΝEΑΚΔ Zeus, reclining left on the outstretched wings of an eagle standing facing, holding a patera in his right hand and a thunderbolt in his left. Dattari (Savio) Supplement 138. Geissen 1195. K&G 32.683. RPC III 6058. Clear and well-struck with an attractive green patina with red highlights. Good very fine.
