ATTICA, Athens. Circa 455-449 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23mm, 16.97 g 10). Head of Athena right, wearing Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves, sprig with palmette and round earring. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing, with triple-pronged tail feathers; behind, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Starr Group V.B. Struck on a tight flan and with some minor marks from cleaning, otherwise, about extremely fine.
