ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ / 1910 Elderly head of George I to left; below truncation, in tiny letters, Γ. ΙΑΚΩΒΙΔΗΣ; privy marks cornucopia (for the Mint Director) and torch (for the Engraver General, Henri-Auguste Patey, 1896-1930) flanking the date. Rev. ΔΡΑΧΜH Veiled Thetis, seated to left on a hippocamp swimming to right, holding, with her right hand, the shield of Achilles adorned with a facing gorgoneion, and resting her left on her waist. ΛΑΟΔΙΚ ΠΡΟC ΛΙΒΑΝω / ΜΗΝ Mên standing facing, head left, wearing Phrygian cap, crescent at shoulders, holding scepter in left hand and bridle of horse standing left behind him in right.
