Obverse die, (35 mm, 16.74 g, 6 h). ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Α! ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ / 1875 Mature head of George I to right; below truncation, in tiny letters, BAPPE. Rev. B /EPREUVE/ 100 .F. /1855 in four lines (retrograde). Reverse die, (35 mm, 16.92 g, 7 h). ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ, Crowned and mantled shield bearing the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Greece; below, 100 ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ; in the lower left field, ESSAI in tiny letters. SICILY. Aitna. Circa 400-350 BC. Trias (Bronze, 22 mm, 8.02 g, 10 h). Head of Persephone to right, wearing grain wreath. Rev. Horse galloping right. CNG EA 130 (same dies). CNS 6. SNG ANS 1159. Red brown patina. Some roughness and traces of overstriking on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
