Rev. 10 ΛΕΠΤΑ in two lines, above olive branch; below, to left, thunderbolt (Poissy and, to right, and flaming torch (privy mark of the engraver general, Henri-Auguste Patey, 1896-1930). Divo 102. Karamitsos 167a. KM 66.1. A surprisingly well preserved and attractive example of a relatively common issue. Graded by NGC "MS 61". Cert number: 2909004-015.

KINGS OF MACEDON. Perdikkas II, 451-413 BC. Heavy Tetrobol (Silver, 17 mm, 2.24 g, 9 h), 443/2-438/7. Rider in Macedonian dress on horse stepping to right, holding two spears in his left hand and the reins in his right. Rev. Forepart of lion to right; all within incuse square. Raymond 180 (HP14/A16). SNG ANS 47-51. Unusually well preserved and struck in good silver from finely engraved dies. Good very fine.
