EGYPT. Alexandria. Commodus, 177-192. Diobol (Bronze, 23.5 mm, 12.12 g, 12 h), dated regnal year KH (28) = 187/8. Μ Α ΚΟΜ ΑΝΤ CΕΒ ΕΥCΕΒ Laureate head of Commodus to right. Rev. L ΚΗ Bust of Harpocrates to right, wearing headdress and holding his right hand in front of his mouth; behind him, club surmounted by Osiris hawk. Dattari 3917. RPC IV.4, 3525. Scarce; only four examples recorded in RPC, half of them currently in public institutions. Pierced through, otherwise, very fine.
