Youthful head of George I to right; below truncation, in tiny letters, BAPPE. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ Laurel wreath containing surrounding 10 / ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ / 1876 in three lines; privy marks bee (for the Mint Director, Renouard de Bussière, 1860-1879) on the left and an anchor (for the Engraver General, A. D. Barre, 1855-1878) on the right. Divo 48. Karamitsos 162, KM 48. In lower grades this is not an uncommon coin, but it is extremely rare in MS 66 as it is here. Graded by NGC "MS 66". CONCORDIA AVG / EPHE Concordia seated left on throne, holding two grain-ears and poppy-head in her right hand and cornucopia with her left; feet resting on stool. BMC 453. BN 343. Cohen 67. RIC² 1428. RSC 830. Scarce, well centered and clear. Slightly doubled inscription on obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
