BΑΣΙΛΕΙA ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ Crowned shield bearing the coat of arms of Greece with the Wittelsbach arms at the center. Rev. 5 ΛΕΠΤΑ 1839 Denomination and date in three lines within a laurel wreath tied above and below. Divo 21f. Karamitsos 60. KM 16. With collection inventory number 2646 written on the reverse in ink. Graded by NGC "AU details / cleaned". Cert number: 2908898-012.

ΛOΥ ΑΥΡ ΚOΜOΔOϹ Laureate bust of a lightly bearded Commodus wearing cuirass and paludamentum to right, seen from rear. Rev. ΛΑΜΨΑΚΗΝωN Draped bust of bearded Priapus to right. RPC IV.2, 2367 (temp.). Extremely rare - only one specimen known to RPC (a British Museum coin). Somewhat rough obverse, otherwise, very fine.
