Rev. + ΛΛEXIω ΔEC-ΠOT Tω KM Crowned bust of Alexius I facing, holding scepter surmounted by pelleted star in right hand and globus cruciger with globule on shaft in left. DOC 2c. SB 1893a. Noted as extremely rare and without a price in Sear, however at least five additional examples have appeared on the market in the past two decades. Flan cracks, otherwise, very fine.
