BΑΣΙΛΕΙON ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ Crowned shield bearing the coat of arms of Greece with the Wittelsbach arms at the center. Rev. 5 ΛΕΠΤΑ 1848 Denomination and date in three lines within a laurel wreath tied above and below. Divo 23b. Karamitsos 68. KM 28. Very minor die break on the obverse. Graded by NGC "MS 61 BN". Cert number: 2908897-010.

FEL TEMP RE-PARATIO / Γ/ANΔ Helmeted soldier to left, shield on left arm, spearing fallen horseman who is bearded and falls over the neck of the horse. LRBC 2623. RIC 135. Dark brown patina. Good extremely fine.
