ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ E(ESSAI) 1877 Mature head of George I to left; below truncation, in tiny letters, BAPPE. Rev. Laurel wreath tied below, containing ΟΒΟΛΟΣ / 5 / ΛΕΠΤΑ in three lines; below denomination, ESSAI flanked by two anchors (privy mark of the Engraver General, A. D. Barre, 1855-1878). Divo P92. Karamitsos T.67. KM E20. This coin exhibits an aesthetically pleasing patina coloring, enhancing its overall visual appeal. Graded by NGC "PF 65 RB". Top pop in NGC and PCGS. ΗΡΑΚΛΗΙΩΝ Head of Athena to right, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet adorned, on the bowl, with Skylla hurling a stone to right, and a triple pendant earring; behind Athena's neck, Κ. Rev. Youthful Herakles standing facing, nude but for a strap across his chest and with a lion's skin over his left arm, holding a bow and an arrow in his left hand and a club in his right; above club to left, skyphos; in field to left, ΑΘΑ.
