ΤΑΡCΟΥ ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕΩC On the right, Perseus holding harpe and patera facing to left towards Demeter standing to right, holding lighted torch in each hand; between them, garlanded altar, before which a sacrificial bull is lying to left; on the altar, half length figures of Tranquillina and Gordian standing to right, facing Perseus, jointly holding a shield; in the background, column surmounted by the statue of Apollo Lykeios; across fields, Α Μ Κ Γ Β.
