Agrippa. Died AD 12. As (Copper, 28 mm, 11.15 g, 6 h), struck under Gaius, Rome, AD 37-41. M AGRIPPA L F COS III Head of Agrippa to left, wearing rostral crown. Rev. S-C Neptune standing left, naked except for cloak hanging over right arm, behind back and over left shoulder and upper arm, holding small dolphin in outstretched right hand and a trident in his left. BMC 161 (Tiberius). Cohen 3. RIC 58 (Gaius). A very nice example featuring an expressive portrait. Minor scrapes on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
