CARTHAGE. Circa 350-320 BC. Stater (Gold, 17.5 mm, 9.29 g, 12 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing triple pendant earring, necklace, tied at the back and hung with seven pendants, and a wreath of grain leaves. Rev. Horse standing to right; in field to right, before horse's forehooves, three pellets arranged as an inverted triangle. Jenkins & Lewis Group IIIf, 45-7. MAA 4. Scrape on the obverse, and minor marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

GLORIA REIPVBLICAE / ANTH Roma and Constantinopolis enthroned supporting between them a wreath inscribed VOT / XXXX in two lines; Constantinopolis holding scepter in her left hand and resting her right foot on prow and Roma holding spear in her left. Depeyrot 12/1. RIC 173. Rare. well struck and lightly toned. Faint scratch on neck, otherwise, good very fine.
