MACEDON, Amphaxitis. 187-168 BC. (Bronze, 20 mm, 12.66 g, 12 h). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion’s skin headdress. Rev. AMΦAΞIΩN in two lines, club in the middle; all within oak wreath; NY monogram below. AMNG III 78. SNG Copenhagen 36 var. (monogram). Fine dark brown patina. Struck on a tight flan, otherwise, good very fine.
