Allectus, Romano-British Emperor, AD 293-296. Quinarius (Bronze, 18 mm, 2.57 g, 6 h), Camulodunum. IMP C ALLECTVS P AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Allectus to right. Rev. LAETITIA AVG / QC Galley with four rowers to right. Burnett, Coinage 211. RIC 125. A well struck quinarius with a fine portrait of Allectus. Good very fine.

From the collection of W. F. Stoecklin, Amriswil, Switzerland, acquired in the early 1950s from the estate of the late Dr. L. Naegeli of Zürich (died in 1951).
