Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 32 mm, 25.94 g, 12 h), Rome, 134-138. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P Laureate and draped bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. RESTIVITORI ASIAE S C Hadrian standing right holding roll and extending left hand to raise kneeling figure of Asia, towered, holding a sceptre in her left hand. Banti 646 (same reverse die). BMC 1798 note. Cohen 1236. RIC 945. Glossy dark patina. Edge defect from 9 to 11h on the obverse and with smoothed fieldssurfaces, otherwise, very fine.
